What Newfoundland Music Would You Suggest For A SJIWFF iTUNES Playlist

I love music. I love making playlists on iTUNES. I’ve got iTUNES playlists named things like Lazy Morning Sunday, High School Angst and Cocktail Hour Dinner Italian.

If I were to make a playlist called SJIWFF 2007, for this year’s international Women’s Film Festival, which artists or songs should I put on it? And which artists are a must hear.

I’m feeling pretty “Consequence Free” and Cathy Parsons has all ready hooked me onto local hero Mark Bragg. Ron Hynes is a no-brainer as he played for us opening night, and The Backstreet Boys will have to be on it in honour of “he’s got rhythm” Snowball the cockatoo.

But that’s just a start. All suggestions welcome.

P.S Too stuffed with the most delicious fishcakes (plus salmon, salads, fine cheeses and mounds of patisserie) served at the First Annual Barne’s Place Ladies Lunch hosted by Rosemary House to write much else.

Plus, gotta run, the Local Heroes film screening starts in 15 minutes.
