Egads. That frog just doesn’t give up. He’s actually calling me incessantly, and clogging up my inbox with emails and text messages.
And check out the shot he sent me above – as if that will impress me. Really. How shallow does he think I am?
As if being a big huge TV and film star with a monstrous house in the Hollywood Hills and glam opportunities coming out of his wazoo makes one bit of difference to me. Well let me tell you mister, it takes more than that to buy my love.
And what’s with his “official spokesperson” role for the Ford Escape Hybrid? You think he would have said something to me and Carmel when we were driving around Hollywood a few weeks ago. But no. Not a croak.
Not sure what kind of game he is playing…but you can be assured I am not falling for it.
Sorry, this just got me so riled up that it actually broke me from my spell of ennui. I’ve been back in Toronto just a few days since my trips to LA and The Hamptons, and I’ve spent all my time indoors finishing a web site for star writing talent and ex-editor of Chatelaine magazine Rona Maynard. And now the weather just bottomed out. It’s cold! Freezing. Dismal. I bet it’s not like this in LA.
And to make matters worse, my car just died. It’s been disintegrating slowly over the past year and it’s just not worth fixing. I am donating it to a charity as soon as I pick the one that makes me cry the most.
Now would sure be a good time to win that Ford Escape the über wonderful, ridiculously talented, kind, brilliant, creative, and smart “Escape from Boredom Team” teased us with. I think they said we’d get to use one for a whole year!
Wow. The things I could do with it in a year! I could probably drive down to Los Angeles and surprise Carrie Fisher. I think she’d love that – she’s so spontaneous. We are soooo alike!

Haha! First I heard “A weekend” then “A week” then “a month” and now it’s “a whole year”… way to up the ante Irene!!
I think the marketing team needs to realize the gold they have here- two Canadians in Toronto… if they gave both of us an Escape (for two years) we could cover the entire city in Kermit Hybrids! It’s be like an army!
