Oh I know, I know. Sounds just so - ungrateful. And I haven’t even unpacked.

Bingo. That’s the problem. That’s what awaits me: I have to unpack, do laundry, sort receipts, write thankyous etc. Ew.

I’m just not used to doing things for myself anymore. I miss L.A.

Plus I came home and my car has broken down again, and it’s just not worth it to get it fixed. Darn. All I wanted for it to do was last through the summer to get me up to the cottage, which is my favourite thing to do to Escape the boredom in the summer.

But no. Damn non-Ford car.

I wish I had one of those hybrid Ford Escapes now to test drive. Speaking of, I wonder what happened to the photo contest where the winner was going to get a Ford Escape to drive around for a month? That sure would come in handy now, and help to relieve my tristesse.

Better go look at some more photos - to reminisce on those good ol’ times. And yes, I will continue writing up my traveling tales as soon as the St. John’s Wort kicks in.

These desserts from Social would go down really easy now. I’m an emotional eater like Oprah. She and I have a lot in common.
